I agree with Aija 350% on this. It isn't your fault David Cody died and you have saved lives! You have introduced me to this world and now I'm doing my part. My cousins are helping me, my parents, sister, and even my grandparents. Plus, every person that visits this site probably tells someone. PLEASE DON'T THINK THAT YOU AREN'T HELPING. We CAN stop this. We just need to keep FAITH in GOD because GOD is the answer to all questioins in this life. In time this will end, GOD will be there and be our voice to all of the other humans out there, you just have to stay faithful.

please don't think that you let Dave down. you haven't. don't u think dave would have wanted you to at least try to warn people and to save some lives even if they tried it anyways? Well i know one thing for sure, you have saved at least 1,000 lives. 6 lives would include mines and my family. you have told me about this game and its dangers. if you haven't who knows, i could have played that game and ened up ion the morgue or six feet under in my early grave by now. i've told my friends and teachers and they spreaded it. And please don't blame yourself for other lost. they might have not heard it from you just other people who learned it from the internet or something. and even if they did here it from you don't you think the signs the warning that were giving out could have told their brains "uh....duh.....don't play the game. cuz it kills." and if they didn't have sence enough to listen to their conscience and played that game, then they are in my eyes SILLY FOOLS.  it shouldn't be your falt that they played the game and already knew the signs and dangers of it. please don't beat yourself up for them. you have tried your best and have saved many lives. even if you don't know it you have. and another thing, please don't give up. don't ever say your done when its just the beginning. i'm sure God is Working right now. it mite seem He is taken forever, but i'm sure everyhting will change. it's like a track meet. my track coach always says if you really want something bad, no mater wat the odds are,KEEP PUSHIN FORWARD. don't give up when someone else dies. please don't. don't you think Dave wants you to not give up and don't want you not to say you let him down? i'm sure not. i've never been so sure that God is workin it all out.    This is David Cody Hudson, my grandson who never got to see his 13th birthday, because you and me didn't care. I will explaiin: the first time a child died from playing the choking game, we should have been paying attention, and saw that if this was a new game then more kids are going to try it. It didn't happen to us so we didn't care. Well now it has happen to me, and I do care, and thats why I want so bad to bring this deadly game to the attention of somebody with power to warn people that kids are playing this deadly game. All these kids that have died because of this game, should be a sign to us all that something has to be done. These kids didn't want to die, and they wouldn't have, if the parents or grandparents had known about the choking game.It makes me so mad that the c.d.c. can put warnings on T.V. to old folks to gat their flu shots, but can't put warnings that our kids may be playing deadly games. You still can see warnings about drinking and drugs, but no warning about the game that has killed more kids than drugs. If you have the power to get warnings out about this game, then please do so. If you don't have the power, then help me find someone with the power to stop this game. There has to be someone willing to help. Times are hard now, and parents don't have time for their kids, trying to keep their home, their jobs, and their cars takes up all their time. What dose kids do? They turn to their friends, and learn about the choking game. Thank like a 10 or 12 year old child, if our education is in jeopardy, and our parents don't care, why should we. Thats when they play the deadly choking game. Don't let our leaders take away from our kids education. Close

   People I talk with still say they never heard of this game, and kids say whats so bad if a kid dose it right. Kids say it makes them feel like they are floating and they feel so peacefull. What they don't understand if they play this game, the next time they play it they might keep floating all the way to CAMP HEAVEN. A child that wants to have sex some day, may not be able to if he or she plays the choking game. The game kills so many brain cells that when it comes time to have sex you can't do it. Every kid wants to drive, but playing the choking game kills the cells that make you thank, so you won't be able to pass the text. All your friends will be driving around in a new car, but you can't because you played the choking game and killed your brain cells. THANK before you play any game that harms your brain. Without the brain, the body is no good. Take care of the brain and the brain will take care of you. Please kids don't let this game keep killing your friends and love ones. Tell other kids not be playing the deadly choking game. They won't get high, they won't feel good, and if they do feel peacefull and feel like they are floating, THEN THEY ARE DEAD! Parents and grand parents spend as much time as you can with your child or grandchild. Beleave me you don't want to know how it feels to see your child or grandchild on lifesupport. Don't let it happen to you, help stop this deadly game. David Cody took his life, but he also gave life back, because now you know about the choking game, WE DIDN'T. Close

i'm so happy that at last it's getting out to people. the only thing i hate though is that dave and other children my age and older had to die for it to come out and aware people.but on the other hand you are awaring people and savin children's lives. God has answered our prayers and has seen us cry and i guess he said that was the last tear. i haven't cried sense last year and i think that is a sign from him. i think it means everything is gonna be ok and this game will end. it has to mean it.

Your Family has fought to deceace this game. they suffered already from losing you and now God has seen enough. you were and still is so precious to them that they don't want to see another family suffer a great pain that they suffered. i should know because all the sacrifices and support that they are giving away is proving it all that they really want to kill the game that has killed you. they really miss you and loves you Dave. please always remeber that.

I had never heard of the choking game before.  When I learned of it, and how it led to the death of Cody and other children, I taught my Sunday School class about the dangers.  They say they had never heard of it, and that it would be incredibly silly for someone to do that.  I am grateful that if that is true, I was able to tell them about it first -with the consequences - before a peer told them about the 'fun' it could be.

Your tribute is working, and other kids are being warned of the dangers.  Thank you for spreading this awareness.

hi dave. it's been almost a long time since i been on here. sorry bout that. but i just wanted to say that i'm still keeping my promise. i'm still spreading the word about the choking game and everyone is now aware of it. it's been hard doing it but i managed to juggle it all up with my social life and etc. while i'm not playing guitar hero (i'm a computer/game/homework/work/smarty pants nerd.lol),or playing on the computer, or talking on the phone or studying or, well you get the picture,  i'm telling other people about the choking game. they seem to be interested to help me spread the word. well some of them. some of them are angry with the game. they want to help also.

  well that's all i guess. other than that my life's pretty simple.  but on the other hand i know i'm helping save a thousand lives and maybe even more. it's kinda cool ya know.:)

So how is CHRISTMAS in CAMP HEAVEN? Can you run around in your pj's, eat all you want? How is the food? Are you eating all your vegs? Bet you eat candy all day long, don't you. We sure do miss you down here. This was your day. You love christmas. You didn't get to many presents from SANTA cause you were naughty most of the time. I hope you being good up there. I haven't got any bad reports on you yet ,so I'm ssure you must be doing good. I've been a bad grandpa, I haven't wrote to you in awhile, but I will do better. Do you get to help putting up lights and all the CHRISTMAS stuff? You were good at that. The tree always look good when you and your sisters helped. The nights have been clear so I have been able to see all the HEAVENLY lights you kids have spread acroos the skies. I know this is so depressing not having David Cody here with you for the holidays. it hurts me to even know your pain. i pray to God that he will make a way through your rough times and that he blesses each of your souls and everyone who cares about Dave. i pray that dave will rest on this Christmas holiday and i hope for the best for your family. i think about him everyday and every other kid who had died from this so called game. it makes me wanna cry at times but i know that if i expect you to be strong for Dave then i have to also. you are in my  prayers everyday and you have people who love you all and hopes for the best for your family.

David Cody your great uncle Bill died Nov. 27th, thanksgiving day 2008th. He got on the bus at 3: 15 P.M. to CAMP HEAVEN. If you happen to see him, tell him I love him, and I'll see him when I get there. Just look for a BIG man with a Big mouth picking a guitar and singing. Maybe now that that he is in HEAVEN he will be able to sing better. You been there for awhile, so take him under your wing and show him around. Some times I look up at the clouds, and I can see you and your friends CLOUD HOPPING, looks like fun, can't wait until I can do it too. The holidays just ant the same without you down here with us. The only gift I want is the one gift I can't have, I WANT MY DAVID CODY BACK!!! Close

  Dave, your uncle George got on the bus to HEAVEN Oct. 19th. He loves to fish and pick on kids, so if you find him take him fishing and find him some kids to pick on. You meet him when we went to his brithday party in 2005. Oh, he likes to play pool too. Show him around and get to know him he's really a nice guy. Him and your grandpa are very close. We had some good times growing up. Like the time I punched him in the nose for a baby ruth candy bar. He got me back by pushing me down the toilet into all the pup. We done strange things to each other just for a candy bar. About like what you and your sisters would have done. RIGHT? Grandpa sure do miss you kid. The hugs, the winks, the smile, and the looks you gave me when you cought me kidding you. I miss having you to yell at when I need to vent. You were good for me, you had a way of making me feel better. You took away a lot of my pain, if only you could take away the pain of not having you with me. I love you boy, and I hope you take good care of my brother. Say hello to my mom and dad too. We miss you kid!!!!!!!!

hi. sorry i haven't been on for a while. as you kno, i'm very busy. i'm busy wit basketball practice, scool work, and yes.....um.....well.....boys.someone liks me but i dont kno who and my frend has boy problems and she comes to me and i hate this boy name daniel. i call him devil. hes so evil. and worse of all, my frend liks him. gross. vanessa, (my frend) is a complete angel and hes like not. devels and angel dont mix. foreals. i kno where he lives and oh he knos im his worse nightmare. as long as hes mean to me and my frends, i will make his life miserable. and he likes my frend vanessa. they r, this discusses me, r dating. and ya kno wat my other guy frend likes her but she doesn't. but wat i dont understand is that jeremy (my frend who likes her) is an angel too. they mix, but she likes a devil. they dont mix.

i kno your wonderin why i'm comin to you bout dis and i dont really kno. i told m y frends and it was like talkin to potatoes. i mean dont get me wrong they are smart but kinda slow, like me 4 an example.

   What is the choking game? It's a funny game to kids that get other kids to do it so they can watch while they kill brain cells, and flop around like a fish out of water. Kids tell kids it makes you feel good, makes you perceive a euphoric high. Drugs you get high. playing the choking game you don't get high YOU DIE!! Your brain, is like a video game, take away it's power and it dies. If you have played the choking game and didn't die, the next time may be your last. If you never played, don't no  matter who say's it's fun and safe. Close
